The Philosophers' Guild was not very lively today, apparently due to what happened earlier.

Keljandra's opponent in today's debate was a Lunar named Edin, and their topic was the question of the sacredness of local traditions and customs. 

— It's no secret that in Lower Lunaria, men are kept as slaves. In our progressive age, there is no excuse for this, and the Imperial government should put an end to such a state of affairs as soon as possible. Perhaps there's no need to go into any details here — slavery is bad in and of itself.

— Hmm, Miss Keljandra, — the event organizer addresses the pointy-eared one, — do you support or perhaps refute what you've heard? 

— This tradition represents something unacceptable for the modern worldview. Lower Lunaria has fallen behind the world and plunged headfirst into its own thickets. All races, regardless of gender, deserve freedom and can benefit society. Restricting the intelligentsia to women only and existing at the expense of slavery is nothing more than backwardness. A harmful backwardness that will sooner or later destroy society. Lower Lunaria is mistaken, but it will never admit it. I fear it will continue to cast a shadow over the world map and tarnish the reputation of those few dark Lunarians who wish to be part of the world rather than their vice-ridden homeland.
