It clearly states that after this mission, you need to load an old save, and it even forces you to save with a unique name. At least, that's how it was written before.

I apologize; I might have skimmed through it without paying close attention. Sometimes, the brain fills in what is implied. I missed the phrase "loading the save." If you can go back without losing anything, that's great. And "without losing anything" inherently means from a save file; I don't understand how you could lose something by loading a save. It's a shame that it's not possible to continue sequentially. I was hoping for some kind of bonus in the further playthrough, like the gnome shield, for example (I saw a hint about its location in the previous one and found/followers found the missing artifact). But thank you anyway!
