Silos Zanj only suggested the guild of mages; I came up with the guild of heretics myself, and the idea to make them mutually exclusive only appeared in 2020. The fact that there are no guilds of Life and Death is already my oversight; many things were invented as the work progressed, and this is the problem with such an approach: without a clear content plan or even an idea of what the final result should be, many ideas seem rather far-fetched. If I had decided to implement them when I returned to the map in 2020, I would have had to radically change many things. So, we have what we have.
