Searching for mods (looking for mods for Tribes of the East).

Wouldn't it have been a good idea, knowing that there are such skilled people with the source code, to ask them about the possibility of correctly implementing a new faction? ))) Or does it just seem that the new faction isn't really needed by anyone? )))
