How did it happen that, despite being a 3D hater and messing up in the photos, I managed to take second to last place in the image category?

I thought about this, as well as about the fact that I observe a similar pattern, albeit less pronounced, and I have a hypothesis that we are behaving like overtrained neural networks... Not exactly in the sense described in the wiki, though.
