The next mission is quite long and boring. Boring because a) there is no threat, and b) the design is in the form of a spiral, where you often have to run back and forth. Long because a brave demon is intensely consuming everything valuable on the map. We have a purple Human hero, but he just sits in his gray castle in an equally gray spiral of mountains. It's worth killing him only for the +3 to attack and defense. Fortunately, the hero is relatively weak, but has a lot of hit points, and I have Darkness and a ballista. I eventually realized that I wasn't getting fire arrows because I had forgotten about the perk, which I rarely use when playing as demons. I had to go to the mentor, and that was painful because fighting a hundred Titans became the most difficult challenge on the map. In the end, I finally felt the power. Impressive stats, good artifacts, Darkness, and the ballista solved most of the problems. A separate mention should be made of the half-hour chase of 80 Pese with 5,500 zombies for the hero's armor. And it seems that this is their fixed number. Apparently, this is revenge for unfairly completing the first mission due to a bug in the boss's script, but as it turned out, it is impossible to complete it fairly without a fix. In general, I expected another powerful hero guarding the desired obelisk. But to my surprise, after defeating the phoenixes, I simply approached him and won. That is, if you want, you can speedrun the map. Again, some neutrals are constantly growing, while others are not... For some reason, the "do not grow" checkbox is not set for squads that already have a large number. But small groups remain small. Of course, I didn't check, maybe they all grow, but someone is just very weak by default, but it seemed to me that it was exactly as I described above. Well, something like that. There was a very interesting Dungeon with black dragons, but that's already a plot spoiler. For the next mission, I chose ten Nightmares as a bonus. And I thought for a long time, should I choose them or a bag of gold... Why do I feel that the bag of gold would be more useful...?
