Initially, Varya planned to combine her visit to the infirmary with a second objective: to find out from Clivia about any specific details regarding Yukki and Stella's illness, so she would know exactly which topics to avoid when talking to them. After careful consideration, however, the girl realized that she didn't trust Clivia enough, and that the conversations should obviously avoid "that particular" period of time, in which case everything would most likely be fine. There were also some doubts about the past; could the girls' tormentors have delved into their minds about what happened before April? Or about some specific, unrelated topics? But in the end, Varya decided to assess the situation and, in general, not burden anyone with unnecessary information. Speech is silver, but silence is gold.
She thanks Clivia again and says goodbye.
