To be honest, Varya thought there was some kind of training regimen or special techniques, like the ones she went through in the monastery, training her willpower, but after the answer, she wasn't as disappointed as one might think. At least now she has an official answer to any claims that it's not her fault she's lazy, but simply that she "doesn't have the talent." Perhaps that will suffice.
