Dwarf battle squads are capable of inspiring fear in any opponent. Unheard-of ferocity and iron discipline help them gather into squads in the blink of an eye. In battle, dwarves from different cities strive to outdo each other: who will kill more enemies, capture more banners, and so on. War is a game for them, and in this way, they keep score. Dwarf warriors, despite their ferocity, are famous for their remarkable discipline. They can hold their positions for hours under a hail of arrows, waiting to deliver a swift strike. Dwarves never give up. They fight to the death, even when the situation is hopeless for them. The best death for a dwarf is to die in battle against countless enemies in the presence of someone who will one day compose a song about this feat.
