P.S.: Another technical point. How do you dismiss a hero sitting in a castle if they entered it on the last turn? Just leave them there?

Yes, leave them there. You can't do anything with them anyway. But if this hero is the main one (good stats :) ) and they are not a scenario hero, then leave them near the castle, otherwise stick them inside the castle so they don't get in the way. In other words, on the screen in this mission there should be only 2 heroes left (from which we will choose the main one).
