The supplies gathered from Coriel provided little help – the girl could barely lift anything heavy due to her lack of training. Nevertheless, she tried her best. Even the children in the settlement grabbed belongings and dragged things around, and everyone worked together, so it would be rude to be lazy. Although, she didn't really feel like working – she'd rather be engrossed in a book...
They left, and after a while, members of the Order appeared before the weary travelers. This fulfilled the Lily's worst prediction, but, of course, Raum and his companions were prepared for this. Although they were kind, they were not naive.
The girl remembered reading about similar cases in books. It often happened that the preachers of Dante were subjected to all sorts of persecution and beatings... What did they say and how did they act then?
Sacred texts appeared before her eyes, as if they were right in her hands.

Coriel had one unusual trait – poor auditory memory and excellent visual memory. She expresses all her thoughts in her head in the form of texts. This makes communication somewhat difficult, but on the other hand, her extensive reading helps her.
Once, her father tried to teach her music – he said that Coriel had a beautiful voice, and therefore she should definitely take up singing. The girl easily learned musical notation and could even compose melodies, writing them down in notes – only she couldn't imagine how these written melodies should sound. Her father played them on a lute, and it seemed to turn out well, but Coriel herself didn't learn to sing or play instruments. It was better to immerse herself in books.

About how the path of the righteous will be noticed by Dante and Manoa, about how they will not be forgotten for centuries. About how the ungodly will perish. About how the blood of the righteous will be avenged, and the deeds of the ungodly will not stand.
Unfortunately, the elf is of little use in this battle. But she needs to at least inspire her comrades. And she herself will fight to the last drop of blood against those who, hiding behind some incomprehensible invented rules, violate true dogmas.
