Coriel is the only daughter in the family of a widowed musician. She is so quiet and taciturn that, despite having no hearing or speech issues, she prefers to express her intentions through gestures.
She shows great interest in books and magic. Moreover, by her own choice, she became an adherent of the Church of Dante (apparently taking their texts seriously and deeply).
Despite her modesty, she can hardly be called a gentle person; on the contrary, she can be stubborn and unyielding.
She ended up in the village due to joining the organization for the liberation of Eolia, carrying out an assignment there. As a result, she stayed in the village for some time, meeting like-minded people there; and given the dangers of the forest, she had no easy way to simply leave.
