Regarding the overall situation, it was certainly quite unpleasant and demotivating to realize just how critical failures affect the outcome of a battle. And the opponents were strong for the first test of this system, in my opinion. But I won't dwell on it; instead, I'll thank you for Revant correcting this situation in the plot (although Asterion can't be brought back, unfortunately).
