Before, the rather meager selection of options suddenly became substantial and diverse. What should I choose? All the furniture looked very good, except for a couple of options that were a bit too rough, but even those were better than the relatively bland furnishings that came standard with the Gungnir homes.

The spartan furnishings of Sharnhorst looked mediocre, as did the overly masculine-military style from Eugen. It wasn't that Gulveig disliked weapons, but perhaps in a more elegant, knightly style, rather than a gladiatorial-thug style.

The Thracian furniture was quite cozy. Not extravagant, but warm and natural. Sitting in an armchair by the fireplace, warming up and sleeping under a blanket, is very nice...

The Reichheim, Illian, and Artorian furniture were in a class of their own. All of it was extremely beautiful and luxurious, simply brilliant. The difference was that the Artorian style was more royalist, which seemed both great and patriotic, but Gulveig thought it might be too pompous. The Illian and Reichheim styles, especially the latter, were very good, but would she be able to keep such porcelain splendor clean and tidy, especially without the servants typical of the aristocrats of those provinces? Vegi remembered Bouvardia and for a moment imagined her in a maid's apron pouring her tea. Or should it be the other way around, Gulveig, the clumsy maid who constantly breaks things, pouring tea for Bouvardia, but scalding her and awkwardly trying to wipe it up with a napkin, offering a thousand apologies? Hmm, neither version seemed like an ideal domestic scene. And yet... It's something to keep in mind for the future.

Grimwald was very good. In some ways better than Thrace, because it was more elegant. In some ways worse, as it was a little less cozy. Still, the natural theme created the feeling that Gulveig hadn't left her little corner of the forest...

The Elheim furniture didn't look too extravagant, but it attracted attention with the presence of darts. It would be possible to practice accuracy in the evenings, or even hold competitions...

"Mother, it's a pity that there isn't any furniture in the style of Marion here... Then there would be one less option, and it would be easier to choose. And in general, why am I so worried, it's just furniture. Don't I have more important things to think about right now? I haven't even talked to the children after the trip."
