Similar problem. After 4 years

If the author has found a solution, please share it!

In my opinion, to fix this bug, the game's .exe folder needs to contain the DirectX .dll files (d3dx9_25.dll and d3d9.dll, and besides this pair, there are some other files... on the Nival forum, some people had a similar problem a long time ago)!
