Gullveig sat down on a chair and began her story.
"So, it was a late evening after a hard day's work. Well, of course, it gets dark early in winter, so there's nothing to be surprised about. And so, we were walking in a large group – everyone who was 18 or older was assigned to this task. I was walking and thinking that the trees were standing very close together and the ground was somehow soft... as if a farmer had plowed through the forest. Daniel ran a little ahead, and then...

"Father Gungnir probably has some kind of intuition, finding new children for the orphanage..." Vegi concluded. "Oh, and here." She carefully unfolded a cloth with branches.
"Grafting? Is that right? I think you mentioned something like that to me before. If these branches belonged to magical walking trees, then they are probably not entirely ordinary either. You can put them in water and see if they will take root. I'm just not sure if they are poisonous; those dendroids were spraying us with something..."
