Played for a week and quit. Another aimless exploration based on the author's ideas about 5 heroes (knight-warlock, without castles, angel-vampire, adept with dark magic, and so on). When will normal maps appear?

Maybe you should try making it yourself and do it the way you want =)
Indeed, no one knows what you like, and each author does it the way they like.
To avoid "another one," you should make something "unique" =)

This is not a flame; it's just that I don't like how the author is being discouraged because of their own unfulfilled expectations/wishes.
