Ples and I want to chip in and buy some kind of book and level up a bit before the battle (several people can read the same book). Dani should really start learning how to use a crossbow. We can roleplay it as them getting together, agreeing, and actively preparing for the battle they've planned for a day or two from now (probably the phase won't change by then). I think that's good.
Otherwise, it's just strange from a roleplaying perspective – like, there's a dangerous creature roaming around the city, and the baron's pupils, who are about to go somewhere and perform some dangerous missions in other countries, aren't even bothered. Absolute incompetence... /
