What is more important: luck or fighting spirit?

There's no need to argue – just choose both skills, and that's it. Besides, the game allows for it (I personally do it that way).
And you also forgot about their simultaneous effect (I remember it being like that with the High Elves: double luck + morale, then double luck again).
