Yes, I think the cartoonish style is a plus here. In the sense that it looks like an improved version of an existing unit. The units in the fifth game were quite cartoonish. The sword used to do less damage and looked worse. The regular zombies had a rather large cleaver; after that, a sword of normal size doesn't look very impressive anymore.
Khotabych also noticed that there's not enough armor. I think it would be good to add armor to the belt and one of the legs.
Regarding the color, I think it would be better to take the idea from Waterfall.
That is, all second-level upgrades have one color scheme, and all third-level upgrades have another. And if we're developing the zombie branch in parallel with the ghoul branch, then at the second level, they should be greenish, and at the third level, white with black armor. In the color scheme of the improved ghouls from the sixth game.
These are just hypothetical thoughts about a mod that I probably won't make.
I kind of want to, but I'm trying to convince myself not to spend time on it.
A cool zombie turned out =)
If I were doing it, I'd probably make the third-tier undead crimson.
If I were to spend time on it, we need shamans on bear mounts for the dwarves xD
And they should cast spells while riding =)
Just kidding, but honestly, I struggled today trying to find a *move* for the Jarls/Earls. It's a pity that the developers didn't create an animation for them (I put the Archdevil's walking animation on them).
