Understood; when playing against other players, it can sometimes be detrimental to see your opponent moving around on a portion of their territory that you have already revealed.
For the game, it doesn't matter whether it's a local network or a game played on a single computer with multiple windows displayed on the screen. With a few exceptions.
I am all for fair play. And if I decide to play online, I will remove the mod. But when playing on a single computer, I think it's silly to hide anything. Especially since, in essence, it hides the AI's moves.
