Good luck; his stats are certainly tough. If you're playing on hardcore with a lunatic difficulty, he should have around 500 attack and defense – more than I've ever gathered (I haven't had more than 400 defense). And he also has a huge army. So, even on his own, he shouldn't be weaker than your character, but due to the dragon's strength, he can be killed one-on-one. The new version will have even more challenging bosses, so it will hardly be possible to win without an army.
