The fall of the current regime in El Ragna meant little to Aulus, and he returned home, deciding that with Chinax's death, he had nothing more to do in the Weiling mercenary organization. Thanks to Alma, slavery became entrenched as the foundation of Heckeklian society and culture for many decades, or even centuries. Shendet el Isin, as befits a skilled warrior, fell in battle, but in the last moments of his existence, he regretted his inherent carelessness.
