Dreams.

I dreamt of a complex, intricate plot involving a dragon. First, there were several episodes "from the future," supposedly showing someone rescuing someone else from a difficult situation. There were two attempts: one using a portal (which failed because the people being rescued didn't understand the strange window that appeared in the air and accidentally "broke" it), and then a physical rescue. The second part was like a prequel, with more details. I participated in an operation to put the dragon to sleep (permanently). The dragon was already unconscious, and its mouth was held shut with a special plastic device to prevent it from opening. This plastic muzzle had three special compartments where injections needed to be administered. I took turns, following the instructions, and made three injections into the correct spots, making sure each syringe was empty. The medic (veterinarian? Heh) then removed the plastic device, because what could possibly go wrong? Of course, the dragon slowly started breathing again, slowly opened its eyes, and woke up. As a result, we found ourselves locked in a house, with the dragon flying outside and regularly monitoring the windows for us, so it could breathe fire at us. The safest place was the concrete basement, but you couldn't stay there for long, so we still had to play hide-and-seek. The dream ended with the portal and the fact that we were later rescued from there.
