I still believe that salads shouldn't be salted, and I don't salt them.
I, on the other hand, like to add some olive oil and salt. But lately, I can't stand mayonnaise in salads; it all turns into some disgusting white goo that completely masks the taste of the vegetables. Just like grains/potatoes, these are also unnecessary in a salad, because a salad should be a salad, and not a strange mixture with a side dish.
