I suddenly thought that Locken might buy my character as a gladiator, if need be. So, I don't care if he agrees; the quest is ready, I'll add one more line, and I won't change anything about the religion or worldview, regardless of the organization.
In short, here's the plan: The Heroist is a great hero and our ideological inspiration, also a field commander. He gathered his gang and set off on his heroic quest for glory or death. Meeting your faithful followers, he charmed them with his sweet talk about heroes, and you believed him. The Heroist is also acquainted with my Elite. Perhaps they became friends after getting drunk together in a tavern, or maybe they met on the road. They are not very similar, but they are united by one main trait – they are restless. With his small team (possibly including more neutral player characters) and perhaps some funds, the Elite suggests turning the gang of vagrants into a real team of adventurers and offers a plan. And most importantly, we have Locken. The treasurer and gray cardinal, a much less noticeable figure than the charming baron and the boisterous Elite, but since he has money and a small army – he is no less important. This trio solves all sorts of team management issues. The rest follow them for personal reasons: some for glory, some for money, some are just along for the ride. Our goal? Globally – as the Heroist said. Locally? My character is coming up with it on the go. What if someone doesn't like something? Let them say so, and we'll convince them. Why are we doing quests? The barons are bored, the rest are doing it for money or company. What are our views on politics? There are tyrants and idiots everywhere, but we can deal with them. The chronology may change. Minor details too. I don't know yet what Locken's character will be like. But roughly – that's it. It's not very convenient to do everything well at once from a phone; there are still many things to clarify and correct.
