It seems like it was a game "without rules."
What GoM did is called Munchkinism.

Regardless of the situation described above, yesterday about half of the chat on the stream held a similar point of view, and now even experienced Heroes players are picking it up. So, this is complete NONSENSE.
Removing the "tournament rules" checkbox does NOT mean that anything goes, that you can move units however you want, intentionally crash the game, streamsnipe, load a save in a second window, etc. This is not "munchkinism," it's cheating.
Once again, this doesn't mean that GoM did all of this; simply, the "absence of rules" cannot be taken as an argument when analyzing such behavior, because "anarchy" only applies to in-game mechanics, not to the general rules of fair play.
