I suddenly dreamt that I was watching a movie about The Witcher. But it was a very specific movie. Filmed in the style of classic socialist realism from the 60s. In other words, a typical industrial novel, but with a Witcher theme. Of course, it had a lot of classic moments for such films. Like pompous speeches about completing a five-year plan in four years, reports on failed plans for monster extermination, the introduction of advanced methods for fighting monsters, and the struggle against bureaucracy to implement them. The final chord was a business trip of the main character somewhere to the Far East to prove the effectiveness of his progressive methods.
I woke up with a feeling of slight bewilderment and a desire to watch this version in its entirety.
