The Empire of Reimia (3)

- The investigation into the case of Eli and Xenomia is still ongoing; it has been determined that the men who attacked the students were involved in illegal business, but the current investigation is also looking into the possibility that the criminals, or some of them, were killed after they were subdued.

Since Xenomia didn't know what Eli would say in response to such an accusation, or if she would say anything at all, she tries to avoid answering directly whenever possible (unless she is specifically asked to). Her position was that they tried to minimize casualties – and this was true, even though Eli didn't immediately agree to a more merciful outcome, she eventually did.
However, as a backup plan, Mia was prepared to take the blame for her friend – by coming up with a plausible reason why she (Mia) acted the way she did.
