I approach and touch one of these spheres. Contrary to expectations, it is quite hard, like a bouncy ball. All sorts of leaves and dirt are stuck to its surface.
In one place, this incomprehensible liquid formed a large, shapeless cloud, about the size of a mattress, and it was moving in a strange way. I decide that I've had enough of this strange stuff, break open the floor, which is made of granite inside, and bury the entire conglomerate of this stuff in it, securely compacting the stone with earth magic.
And then some guy with a futuristic pistol walks up to me. Well, it looks like a pistol... it's similar in shape, but in reality, it doesn't shoot bullets, but something else (I knew it in my dream, but I've forgotten now. I suppose it repels whoever it's aimed at). And this guy is walking towards me, clearly not well-intentioned, waving the pistol, but... it seems he doesn't even know how to use it, he can't even put his finger on the trigger. One assumption is that it's a case of body control. It really looks like a puppet. Perhaps this liquid can penetrate people.
I immobilize him with magic, take away the weapon, and try to figure out what's going on. In one of the rooms, I see a detective and someone else with him (an assistant?). The detective is clearly interested in what's happening and begins to search everywhere for clues – but he does it in a strange way, shrinking himself and his assistant. And in this form, they are searching for something on the floor... Okay, I'm not judging.
Suddenly, a water sprinkler comes out of the ceiling and begins to generously pour green liquid with a sharp smell of cheap apple juice all around. With a snap of my fingers, I create a beautiful channel from the ceiling material to divert the flow. It doesn't help much; it's as if two buckets have been poured over me. The detective and his assistant are washed away completely in an unknown direction by a whole river, and I don't have time to do anything. In the first second, I think that maybe washing away the detective was the goal of the "attack," but then it dawns on me... and I really don't like this thought.
I quickly throw away the liquid-soaked pistol, retreat to other floors, and frantically try to figure out what to do next... Maybe, thanks to my magic, I am not threatened with becoming a puppet? Like, my self-control is better...
The detective's assistant walks down the corridor. Completely dry and calm, as if nothing had happened. Not noticing me, she enters some side room.
It has begun...
