Old-school, and I like it.
My impressions at the time were as follows:
The first half of the anime, before the spirits became giants, was great, 11/10, awesome, I liked everything.
The second half: what is this trash, 1/10, dislike, unsubscribe. And when a black boy with no adequately developed character or backstory was recruited – that was the final straw.
