I used to love dairy products and consumed milk in various forms, but then I stopped completely. I can drink water or tea; oatmeal has become tiresome and is associated with many personal inconveniences, and cheeses, yogurts, and curds seem somewhat pointless – you take them to indulge, and then what? Perhaps they are useful for losing weight on a cottage cheese diet, if that's what someone needs.
I've reached a point where I only add milk or cream to coffee or an omelet once a year, and that's all my dairy consumption. I don't see any personal need for this food group.
