Discussions, post-mortems, analysis, inflated egos, and all that jazz.
Rules are needed, and in Heroes, as far as I know.
So, in Heroes, everything is implemented correctly from a programming perspective. Let's skip the mechanics of using air control, as mentioned earlier. The algorithm should control the capture of an object only after the guards have been defeated and allow for fair manipulation of the object (simply: not taking resources lying on the path, but immediately "flying" to the object). The principle is that everything that is not prohibited is allowed (and what is prohibited is prohibited programmatically; I apologize for the tautology) – this is crucial in this matter. kamukag3e
The other restrictions are precisely for balance and are necessary.
But in SoD, complete chaos reigns. Sometimes I read about controversial situations in the forums, and it makes me uneasy, not because someone is cheating outrageously, but because of the thought that in such situations, where people have no desire to engage in unfair manipulation, mutual distrust can simply destroy friendships. It's all very sad. Although, of course, this can happen in Heroes as well, simply due to the possibility of stream sniping or using third-party programs. And if you can get rid of the first, no one is currently immune to cheating. I hope that one day we will be able to observe Heroes games that are isolated from this problem.
