Bladedancers are good, yes. But there are also elf archers, archers, lizard riders, druids... Although, if you count carefully, the statistics aren't that great either. Various titans and other orcs, of course, don't fit the definition of "good guys."
Among the female units, I think angels, megeras (specifically this grade, beasts, and furies are kind of like that), nymphs (specifically this grade), shamans (specifically this grade!), and that's it...
Maybe the statistics are better for heroes. Among the male heroes, I remember Axel, Vittorio, Winghael, maybe someone else... And among the female heroes, only Miv and Anwen.
