what if you generate a new map?

Well, I generated a new one when playing with Wanderer (or rather, Wanderer generated it – just in case I was doing something wrong).
We got to the third week – and the same thing happened again. And this happened in two games.
We've been playing for a week now – and the game is also going down the drain. And these aren't just fun games; these are tournaments, and I have a different attitude and mindset towards tournaments. But what kind of mindset can I have now if I know that there are flaws in the template, and what's the point of struggling if a flaw pops up at some point, and the game ends up being scrapped again? I'd rather play fun games with Wanderer instead, without the spider, because the problem has been identified in this template; it just needs to be fixed.
And here I'm telling Moz about the problem, and he tells me, "It's just clumsy hands; I generated 100 maps, and everything was fine." Well, that's the end of the conversation if it's clumsy hands. I don't know who he meant, but I think my hands are fine.
