This is a very relevant question because I personally received consent from Ubisoft representatives to use materials from their other games for the development of free MODs for this game, and therefore using content from my MODs becomes not entirely legal since you provide payment details, and it doesn't matter that you decided to disguise it as voluntary sponsorship! :smile24:
Besides, there is one amusing character here with a telling nickname Гусь who has his own MOD containing a lot of foreign content – "240Н", so there is no need to imitate him and similar characters!
Donations do not relate to commercial profit since the project is distributed for free. There is no need to confuse these concepts.
Regarding the use of content from other games for developing a free mod - this relates to indirect advertising. Okay, thank you for the comment; I will contact Ubisoft managers to obtain permission from them to use content from other games.
P.S. - if modders are unhappy that I attach payment details for donations, then I am open to communication and resolving disputes or interpersonal conflicts. In the future, I can stop attaching the donation file to the mod files. Just ask me in a private message, and I won't bite. :smile09:
