-- An interesting form of the question. Who are these "we" that the author is talking about? Himself and someone else? It seems that in this case, the prince means only himself. And I definitely know what makes him hate reality. Nothing. This is his conscious free choice. I cannot say that he was not influenced by circumstances, but it would be untrue to say that something forced him. However, this is unlikely to be what the prince himself would like to hear.

What is the worst thing to wait for?

-- Death. No one likes death, neither the righteous nor the sinner. Both are afraid that it will correspond to their worst expectations.

What best illuminates the path ahead?

-- A clear mind. The mind is capable of understanding what the eyes cannot see and the ears cannot hear.

What warms us from within and tears us apart at the same time?

-- Love. It can be so difficult to bring good to people, but you find yourself at the peak of happiness if, even without succeeding, you receive good in return from them. The prince, however, is more likely to think the opposite, if I am right in the answer.

What do people constantly demand, but it doesn't suit them?

-- People constantly ask stupid questions and receive no less stupid answers from such unintelligent people as I am.
