How to create a video for a map?

I'm having a problem right at the beginning: I followed Ser9k's instructions, and it says that under Property Widow, a window should appear. Am I correct in understanding that this window in the View is called the Log Window? If so, I click on it, and a panel appears at the bottom, but it only has two lines, and I can't even copy them; the map closes. I think the main issue is that these are just lines, and there's no Dialog Scene tab there. So, I thought, okay, I'll do it as written, just in case that tab doesn't exist: I clicked on Resource, then selected "select tables," and then selected "dialog scene" and checked the box. On the left side of the screen, where all the data is usually displayed, a blank window appeared without any tabs. What should I do?
