This starting position practically guaranteed a win: six castles, and by day 131, I already had 15 angels.
Two players were running around – Valk with Chain Lightning and angels, and Dimer with growth. Surprisingly, Dimer gathered more useful artifacts and leveled up better, but we decided to have a two-part finale, where in the first part, Dimer runs away from Fiur and waits for him at the exit of the dungeon with Armageddon, while Valk, with artifacts, an army, and Wings, performs in the second.
Thanks for the game!
Well, the map was rich. In the first week, I took a stash of psionic and fire creatures, and in the second, another stash of psionic and water creatures. In the third week, I cleared the third-level dwellings, increasing my stats. On day 141, I entered the maximum-level utopia, and they gave me only +2 to all stats. Then, over the next three days, I took four more utopias in different third-level dwellings, conquering them with chains, and I got everything except for the Crown of the Underworld. I thought the game was won; I was controlling everything, and he didn't have anything special. I had a glass of wine and was leisurely finishing the days, preparing to defeat my opponent. I cut off Dimer in the underground dwelling, and he started running. I chased him, caught up with him at the exit of the dungeon, and killed him, but he managed to cast Armageddon before he died. I went up to the surface, and there was Valk with a large army. I had 30 health, and I thought that even if he had a cloak, I could defeat him with a single Chain Lightning spell, but not with the Crown of the Underworld!!!! As it turned out, my opponent got this artifact from the only utopia he had, and although I could have still won the game, it wasn't possible with the Crown of the Underworld, which he also had, plus his advantage in army size. I received such an unexpected setback when I was feeling relaxed.
Thanks.
