They say that a few years ago, Russian tourists were laughing hysterically, looking at the "Coca-Cola" billboards. There was a traditional frozen bottle, and the inscription on the billboard read: "Dokonali tvar!" The laughing Russians didn't immediately realize that in Czech, this inscription was just a powerful advertising slogan - "Perfect creation!".
In Prague, above the entrance to some entertainment venues, there is an inscription - "Devki darom". Imagine how disappointed Russian-speaking men are when they find out that this simply means that girls don't pay for entry! And also, a residential building is called a "barak," and "hello, friend" is "akhoy perdelka"...... And that's true!
