An attempt to organize a team tournament between countries!

The idea is interesting, but poorly feasible in terms of the final outcome. The main problem is that the level of play varies greatly from country to country. Let's not kid ourselves—everyone knows the favorites. In the vast majority of the planned national teams, aside from almost complete unknowns, even the "leaders" would look very pale compared to an average mid-tier player from HW, for example. This raises the question of the event's value. Watching, say, Lizard or FTS crush a player from the Limpopo team—dubious pleasure, I think. The process and result of such a game might even bring their opponent not joy from meeting legends, but mostly psychological trauma. And is there even joy in winning such a game? No offense to the organizer and sponsor, but there would certainly be no competitive element in such a show. Perhaps it's a matter of commerce, advertising, attracting a new audience for streams—but even here, the language barrier would seem an insurmountable obstacle.
P.S. Far more promising would be an online championship organized by Armageddets and the Sponsor (say, Eurasia)—with truly strong teams: Russia, Belarus, Ukraine—for objective reasons, invite Poles, possibly Hungarians, make one UAE (United Athletes of Europe) team. Each team of 4 people—the most worthy, selected by national community voting, team captain's decision, rating on HW—various options. A well-thought-out format, brevity, criteria for selection to the second tournament (depending on the first tournament, qualifiers, etc., etc.). The ambition, spectacle, and usefulness of such a format would be many times higher than the proposed option of gathering whoever and sitting them down to play something they don't know how to play. It's no wonder that the dads aren't even posting in this thread (Hell seems to be an exception), because... well, that's just how it is...
