It's just that if you consider using Runes on a Lava Dragon to be a bonus, then I would consider a lucky Shock attack with Boots to be a bonus for a Black Dragon :)

If the question is specifically about combat prowess, then it's best to just check. Take two heroes with equal stats and no skills or spells, preferably from allied but not native Factions (this is fairer for neutral units if they are involved in the discussion). And just have them fight; if the victory isn't clear-cut, then they are roughly equal. :)

But if you take into account abilities, growth, or special combat conditions, then you could argue that a Gremlin with a cart can defeat a Phoenix or a Black Dragon. (Imagine a map where in the corner, on a 2x2 tile, there is an obstacle, on a 1x1 tile there is a Gremlin, and there are several more obstacles in front of the cart, and the Black Dragon simply can't attack anyone...)

I agree with Supreme, Silovik's Runes are not a bonus for the Lava Dragon, and luck is not a bonus for the Black Dragon. :rolleyes: And besides, any creature can have luck (it all depends on the hero)! The Lava Dragon's ability is fire resistance, the Black Dragon's is magic resistance, and the Emerald Dragon's is earth magic resistance. And then it all depends on attack, defense, damage, initiative, and so on.
