That's the whole point. If I lose 2 Phoenixes and have 8 left, I can resurrect them and have 10 again, but if the battle ends and I don't have time to resurrect them, I'll lose them forever.
And with antimagic applied, I can't resurrect them until they're all killed.
But we're not talking about battles against neutrals, for example. I meant a slightly different situation. A very intense battle that will be decisive. So, I think you can accept the dilemma: will you lose them forever or win the game...
