I was only a day behind you, but after the 5th day our tactics differed. My Jelu rushed to the Castle and, having bought out all the archers in the immediate vicinity on the 8th day, went on the attack against the giants. After that, he didn't return to the castle. And every battle was very difficult (plus I was saving mana). I only got dragons on the second week - it became easier, but not by much. I didn't fight unnecessary monsters, trying to reduce the Walkthrough time. In principle, I could have finished in 16 days (I was short 2 moves to reach the enemy castle). I needed to fight in the cliffs with a secondary hero - that's where those extra moves would have come from.
