Ah, I forgot about that. Yes, this thing is even more powerful; the zombies were very helpful.
Things that require shadows are not a good idea. You need to accumulate shadows for them (and then you might have problems due to a lack of shadows for something more useful, as necromancy effects trigger even when they are not needed).
