It seems the Singaporean national attire was designed based on the flight attendants; I haven't seen anyone else wearing it locally.

It's also amusing that the appearance seems to be chosen almost randomly.
And I've never seen denim skirts like the one on the American character, not even once in my life... I doubt they exist.
Upd. Okay, those are shorts. I didn't notice.
