I've seen many houses, but only about 10% of them had gas pipes; no one installs them in modern homes anymore. Unless it's in villages where every penny saved is important (and even there, they usually don't have pipes, but rather buy gas cylinders, for example). An electric stove is much simpler and more convenient, and it's also less of a fire hazard.
