The screenshot in the header shows a window (presumably the settings).
There is an item called "modify the core exe," which means it has been modified after all.
The mods included in the collection essentially change the game's data (parameters), which leads to a partial change in the game, but they do not change the source code of the game itself. You could say they modify the core without changing the code.
