But you are right. Not everyone can distinguish a regular map from a modded map.
Once again, all maps are mods. It is desirable, but not mandatory, to additionally state the fact that a map breaks something. This should be implied by default.
If we're being specific, under certain conditions, absolutely any map can break something; it's just that the probability of this happening is often low, and it can be ignored... But in reality, when you play something new, it overwrites everything old – that's the rule. If everyone follows it, it will be easier for everyone, especially for the players.
