You can take the Staff of Fire Lord and the Soul Reaper, give them to the mages, change the mages a bit, and make them like upgrades (like the Gaia and other genie-ghosts).

I was also thinking about these staves, but then the lightning mage will be walking around with a flame staff... it's better to take the Staff of Magic, it suits him more.

In my opinion, these are not staves from Heroes.
They are from some other game.

The staves are from Dark Messiah, but judging by the records on the site where I found them, the staves are only in the Xbox version, and moreover, in multiplayer.
